Ingredients

  • 1 lb taco meat (ground beef or turkey)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 cups tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa

Instructions

  1. Prepare the taco meat according to package instructions, browning the meat and adding taco seasoning with water until thickened.
  2. Layer the tortilla chips in a large serving platter as the base.
  3. Top the chips with the prepared taco meat.
  4. Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese on top of the meat.
  5. Serve with sour cream, sliced jalapeños, guacamole, and salsa on the side for customization.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days, keeping the chips separate to maintain their crunch.
