Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the soy sauce, honey, sriracha, ginger, and garlic to create the sauce.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the sauce you prepared earlier and simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Steam the broccoli and bell pepper until tender, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Serve the spicy ground chicken over the cooked rice, topping it with the steamed broccoli, bell pepper, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Adjust the sriracha to your preferred spice level. Add a splash of rice vinegar for extra flavor.
