- 1 pound broccoli
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the broccoli to the boiling water and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Drain the broccoli thoroughly and transfer it to a bowl.
- Using a fork or potato masher, smash the broccoli to your liking.
- Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add minced garlic or substitute lemon juice with balsamic vinegar. Feel free to mix in nuts or fresh herbs for variation.
