Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cold brew coffee (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon milk (whole or 2%)
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree (canned, not pie filling)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or simple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Extra pumpkin pie spice for dusting
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the Coffee Base Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour your favorite cold brew coffee over the ice, leaving about two inches of space at the top of the glass for the pumpkin cream layer. If you like your coffee sweetened, you can stir in a little extra syrup at this stage.
- Step 2: Combine Cream Ingredients In a small mixing bowl or a glass jar, combine the heavy cream, milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Ensure the pumpkin puree is smooth and well-incorporated into the liquids.
- Step 3: Froth the Pumpkin Cream Use a handheld milk frother to whisk the mixture for about 30 to 60 seconds. You want it to become thick, frothy, and slightly increased in volume. If you don’t have a frother, you can shake the ingredients vigorously in a sealed mason jar until foamy.
- Step 4: Assemble and Garnish Slowly pour the frothed pumpkin cream over the cold brew. The cream should float on top and slowly cascade down into the coffee. Finish by dusting the top with a pinch of pumpkin pie spice for a beautiful presentation and extra aroma.
