Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups corn (fresh or frozen)
- 2 medium zucchini, diced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the bite-sized steak pieces to the skillet, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until they are browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Once ready, remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for approximately 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the corn and diced zucchini to the skillet, sprinkling them with salt and pepper. Stir everything together and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender but still maintain a bit of crunch.
- Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the vegetables. Mix well to combine, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes to reheat the steak. If desired, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve the dish warm.
Notes
Choose tender cuts of steak like ribeye or sirloin for the best flavor. Don’t overcrowd the pan to ensure a good sear.
