- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond flour or coconut flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Optional: chocolate chips or nuts for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Combine the ripe avocado, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, almond flour, eggs, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips or nuts on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Once cooled, slice into squares and serve.
Notes
Ensure your avocado is ripe for the best texture, and consider adding a pinch of espresso powder for deeper chocolate flavor.
