Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup almond flour or coconut flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: chocolate chips or nuts for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the ripe avocado, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, almond flour, eggs, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips or nuts on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Once cooled, slice into squares and serve.
