Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Start by placing the chicken in the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Once cooked, carefully shred the chicken using two forks and stir it to coat it well with the sauce.

Notes

Use chicken thighs for more flavor. Adjust sweetness by cutting back on honey if preferred. Add vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrition.
