  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 cup Granulated white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup Toffee bits (like Heath bits)
  • 45 Large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work best)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice (optional, to prevent apple browning)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer or a stand mixer to beat the ingredients together on medium speed until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and free of any lumps.
  2. Transfer the cream cheese mixture to a serving plate, shallow bowl, or pie dish. Use a spatula to spread it into an even layer, leaving a little bit of room at the edges for a clean look.
  3. Pour the caramel sauce over the top of the cream cheese layer. You can use the back of a spoon to spread it gently, or leave it in a beautiful, rustic swirl pattern across the top.
  4. Generously sprinkle the toffee bits over the caramel layer. The bits will stick to the caramel and provide a wonderful texture and buttery flavor to every bite.
  5. Wash and slice your apples into wedges. If you are serving them later, toss the slices in a little bit of lemon juice or salt water to prevent them from turning brown. Arrange the apples around the dip and serve immediately.
