- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup blue raspberry flavored candy bits or crushed blue raspberry candy
- Blue food coloring (optional)
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the blue raspberry candy bits and blue food coloring if desired.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
