- 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Cooked rice (for serving)
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and water in a small bowl, stirring until mixed. Set the sauce aside.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Toss in the broccoli and continue stir-frying for another 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the beef and broccoli, stirring to coat, and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of water to maintain moisture.
