  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Cooked rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and water in a small bowl, stirring until mixed. Set the sauce aside.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Toss in the broccoli and continue stir-frying for another 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
  6. Pour the prepared sauce over the beef and broccoli, stirring to coat, and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of water to maintain moisture.
